LOGMET operates the Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) at Los Angeles AFB, CA, base-level customer service function,, processing requests, storage, and issue of supplies and equipment procedures function provide customer service and research capabilities computer operations, maintain accountability records of equipment, reject management, operate the Hazardous Material Cell records maintenance, equipment management. This consists of a Management and Systems Flight, Procedures, Analysis, Training and Base level customer training, Combat Operations Support. Bench Stock, Retail Sales and Individual Equipment Unit (IEU) support is provided to deploying individuals contained in the reporting instructions and HAZMART.

Postal Services.  Additionally, LOGMET supports Postal  Operations of the Official mail Center (OMC), Postal Service Center (PSC), Central Mail Room (CMR), and mail delivery to Activity Distribution Offices (ADOs) at Lackland AFB Texas, Lackland Training Annex (LTA) and CMR located at Port San Antonio.
